Two panels. One swab. Straight answers.
Phoenix Pharmacy offers two rapid respiratory test options. Both use a single throat or nasal swab. Both give you results in about 15 minutes. The difference is how many things we look for. Not sure which one is right? Ask the pharmacist. That is what we are here for.
The Mini Panel costs $120 and screens for strep, Flu A, Flu B, RSV, and human rhinovirus (the common cold virus) — a solid fit for the classic sick-with-a-sore-throat-and-fever pattern, whether that's you or your kid. The Full Respiratory Panel costs $210 and covers roughly 15 respiratory targets, adding adenovirus, coronavirus, parainfluenza, Bordetella pertussis (whooping cough), Mycoplasma and Streptococcus pneumoniae, and more on top of everything in the Mini Panel — best suited for symptoms that won't quit, a lingering cough, exposure to whooping cough or pneumonia, or when you need a clear answer beyond the usual suspects. Both use a throat or nasal swab and deliver results in about 15 minutes, and both offer same-day prescriptions through the partnering provider when treatment is appropriate.
In. Swab. Out. Feeling better sooner.
1. Walk in. No appointment. Come during pharmacy hours. Bring an ID if it is your first visit.
2. One swab. A quick throat or nasal swab. Takes seconds. Uncomfortable for a moment, then done.
3. Results in about 15 minutes. You wait in the store or step out for coffee. We call or text you when it is ready.
4. Same-day prescription if needed. If your result is positive and treatment is appropriate, our partnering provider can send a prescription the same day, right to our pharmacy. You pick it up before you leave.
Why Phoenix, not urgent care.
When you are sick and trying to decide what to do, the choice is usually urgent care, your primary doctor, or waiting it out. Here is the honest comparison.
Phoenix Pharmacy Rapid Testing skips the appointment altogether — just walk in — and gets you out the door in 20 to 30 minutes, compared to the 45 minutes to 2 hours (longer during flu season) typical of an urgent care visit that often requires booking ahead. You're seen by your own pharmacist, someone who already knows your name, rather than whichever provider happens to be on shift. Pricing is a flat, upfront fee for the test instead of the copay-plus-visit-fee-plus-test-fee combo you usually don't total up until later. Same-day prescriptions are available through Phoenix Pharmacy's partnering provider when treatment is appropriate, just as they are at urgent care — but the real difference is pickup: at Phoenix Pharmacy it happens right there in the same trip, while urgent care sends you on a separate errand to the pharmacy.
We are not urgent care. We are a neighborhood pharmacy that does the two things a sick person needs most: find out what is going on, and get the medicine to fix it. In one stop.

Yes. Rapid strep, flu, and RSV testing is appropriate for children, and it is one of the most common reasons parents come in. Bring your child, walk in, and we will make it as quick and gentle as possible. Any prescription decision is made by our partnering provider.

The Mini Panel covers the usual suspects: strep, flu A and B, RSV, and the common cold virus. The Full Respiratory Panel adds about a dozen more targets, including whooping cough, parainfluenza, adenovirus, coronavirus, and pneumonia-causing bacteria. Choose the Full Panel when symptoms are not adding up.

Yes, when treatment is appropriate. If your rapid test is positive for a treatable illness like strep or flu, our partnering provider can send a prescription to our pharmacy the same day. You pick it up here before you leave, so you can start feeling better sooner.
-
A negative result means we did not detect the illnesses on your panel. It does not always rule everything out. If your symptoms are getting worse or not improving, we recommend following up with your primary care provider or an urgent care. We can talk through next steps at the pharmacy.
